KSC Federal Credit Union, Merritt Island, Fla., hosted a successful blood drive, at the Merritt Island branch of KSC FCU, to assist Florida's Blood Center during a severe blood shortage.

KSC Federal Credit Union, Merritt Island, Fla., hosted a successful blood drive, at the Merritt Island branch of KSC FCU, to assist Florida’s Blood Center during a severe blood shortage. Credit union employees and employees from surrounding businesses made their way to the Big Red Bus to contribute. A total of 24 units of blood were donated.

Los Angeles Federal Credit Union, Lynnwood, Calif., for the second consecutive year partnered with Habitat for Humanity at build a house day. The family members and friends of more than 30 LA FCU employees participated in the building of three homes for low-income families in the Los Angeles metropolitan vicinity. In South Los Angeles, LA FCU employees at the Habitat for Humanity’s Vermont Village housing project constructed several wall frames for 16 homes.
