WASHINGTON – CO-OP Financial Services has been certified on a software package that will allow credit unions to offer shared branching services through existing NCR manufactured ATMs, according to an executive with the CUSO.
While attending CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, CO-OP CEO Stan Hollen stressed that the software, called Aptra Edge 3.0, will not be rolled out until September, but he confirmed that when released it would enable shared branching services to spread farther and more easily.
"Our certification in APTRA Edge 3.0 further demonstrates CO-OP's commitment to supporting and building on the investment credit unions have made in their ATMs as distribution channels," Hollen said in an announcement to the advance. "Aside from our best-in-class customer service and unique shared branching model, credit unions will further differentiate themselves to consumers with this ability to conduct Shared Branching transactions at the ATM."
