TACOMA, Wash. — TAPCO Credit Union offered its members sweet deals on its auto loan rates this Valentine's Day.In partnership with five Tacoma car dealerships the credit union offered a 50 basis points discount for 20% down, a 25 basis point discount for having a TAPCO checking account, a 25 basis point discount for automatic payment from a TAPCO account, a 75 basis point discount for its Sweetheart Sale promotion and a 50 basis point discount for buying from a participating dealer.Altogether the promotion offered members an auto loan rate as low as 2.99%.The credit union offered the promotion through Feb. 15, 2009.–[email protected]
