AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Genisys Credit Union teamed up with community organizations to help prevent members prevent foreclosures. The credit union, along with Yiani's Coney Island and the Pontiac Regional Chamber, is holding a fundraiser event through April to benefit the Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency and St. Vincent de Paul. The organizations will then allocate the funds to households in Pontiac to help pay missed mortgage payments.Yiani Coney Island customers will be able to purchase a special $5 breakfast on Sundays through April to raise funds."It's great to see our community rallying to give back," said Lon Bone, vice president of public relations.
