Leominster Credit Union, Leominster, Mass., honored 25 current staff members for their combined 224 years of service. Special recognition was given to Gilles J. Richard and Giulio G. Greco, both of whom have 30 years of service each. Special recognition was also made for D. Oscar O’ Connor, who has 25 years of service. Twenty-two other employees were cited for 20, 10, 5 and 3 years of service.Affinity Federal Credit Union, Basking Ridge, N.J., announced the appointment of Kevin McCloskey to vice president of lending. McCloskey will be responsible for oversight of business and consumer lending, mortgage and loan servicing, credit administration and business solutions. McCloskey previously held the post of senior vice president, chief operating officer and chief credit officer at Synergy Bank. Gordon Smith has been named vice president of information technology. Smith will direct all aspects of Affinity’s information technology department. Smith has over 25 years of information systems experience.Hanscom Federal Credit Union, Hanscom AFB, Mass., announced the addition of Thomas Becker to the organization. Becker will join the credit union as vice president of lending. Becker, who has 25 years of experience, most recently worked as vice president/regional operations manager for a mortgage lending operation. Hanscom also announced that Cynthia Donovan has been promoted to assistant vice president. Donovan most recently was the manager of the Bedford branch. Hanscom has recognized her in the past for her performance.HarborOne Credit Union, Brockton Mass., announced that Jim Rice has joined the credit union as senior vice president of marketing. He brings experience in strategic planning and budgeting as well as segmentation/targeting and new product development with him to the position. Rice was previously a strategic marketing consultant for JR consulting., Gardener, Mass., announced that Linda Carmichael has joined their senior management team as vice president of operations. In the newly created position, Carmichael will oversee the operations and technology staff as well as manage projects that increase operational efficiency. Carmichael has 20 years of banking experience as well as compliance, information technology and human resources experience.
Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville N.Y., announced that Thomas A. Perri has been hired as business relationship manager. He will be responsible for developing the credit union’s business banking sales program aimed at increasing awareness of the business product line within the membership field. Prior to joining Teachers Federal Credit Union, Perri was relationship manager at Chase Bank.
SouthInsight Financial Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., named Debbie Cotton as its new business development director. Cotton will be responsible for ensuring that all business development efforts are consistent with the overall direction of the credit union. Cotton most recently served as public relations executive for Insight.Virginia Credit Union, Richmond, Va., announced that Senior Vice President Chris Saneda, was selected as one of IDG Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2009.The award honors executives who show exemplary technology leadership in resolving business problems. Saneda has been with the credit union since 2007.
