Northeast Family Federal Credit Union, Manchester, Conn., opened their newest office inside of Manchester High School. The credit union will employ two Manchester High School students. Students can open an account at the school branch for a minimum balance of $10 and also use the credit union’s savings, checking and loan services.Founders Federal Credit Union, Rock Hill, S.C., held an after-hours celebration for the grand opening of its new Galleria office. Attendees enjoyed live music, food and football themed giveaways. Guest also registered to win one of four Visa gift cards with a grand prize $500 gift card. The Galleria office is Founders seventh office in York County.Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, Groton, Conn., had close to 100 member guests attend its grand opening celebration for its newest branch location. Charter Oak offered grand opening specials of a four-month certificate special, a Norwich mortgage rate reduction program and a $250 reward for those opening accounts with direct deposit. The celebration included speeches by Mayor Benjamin Lathrop, Norwich Chamber Secretary Todd Postler and Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce President Tony Sheridan.Arkansas Federal Credit Union, Searcy, Ark., opened its 12th location in Arkansas. The grand opening included special offers, prizes and live radio remote broadcast. The new branch will serve all residents, students and employees of White County. During the past five years, Arkansas Federal has opening nine new branches and remodeled two.Wright-Patt Credit Union, Fairborn, Ohio, opened its newest member center. The new location brings Wright-Patt’s total number of member center locations to 22. The new location offers drive-thru service, a drive-up ATM and Wright-Patt’s dialog style member service. A ribbon-cutting reception was held at the new location. Approximately 100 business leaders, city and county officers, Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce members and Wright-Patt board of directors and staff attended the event. A $500 donation was presented to Beavercreek City Schools Superintendent Denny Morrison as part of the Wright-Patt’s commitment to supporting the community.CORE Credit Union, Brooklet, Ga., opened its newest location to serve its members in Bulloch, Effingham and Bryan Counties. The new branch marks the third location of the credit union and the second location opened in the last three years. The new branch features drive-up ATM, full-service lobby with kids play area and a drive-thru lane. The Brooklet location was selected because the area had no prior credit union services available and was only being served by one financial institution.Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Bethpage, N.Y., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newest branch. Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray, Council Member Edward A. Ambrosino and representatives from local business and civic groups were on hand to help Senior Vice President Robert Hoppenstedt cut the ribbon. The ribbon cutting was followed by a continental breakfast. In conjunction with the branch opening, four teams of business relationship manager visited with business owners within a three-mile radius of the branch to introduce them to Bethpage’s services.Altura Credit Union, Riverside, Calif., opened three new branch locations over a six-week period. The three new branches included the credit union’s first location inside a Walmart Supercenter. The new openings bring Altura’s total number of branches to 16. The new branches are located in the communities of Riverside, Morena Valley and Hemet. The Riverside branch includes a new state-of-the-art ATM that does not require an envelope for check deposits.Indiana Members Credit Union, Zionsville, Ind., opened its 26th branch. The grand opening celebration welcomed 292 visitors with hourly door prizes, refreshments and entertainment by a symphony harpist and a magician. Krystal Ping, a credit union member for the past seven years won the $1,000 grand prize drawing. The branch includes four drive-up lanes, two ATMs, safety deposit boxes, business depository and Saturday hours.
