STOCKTON, Calif. — Premier Community Credit Union announced Paul Yang as the credit union’s new president/CEO.Yang was previously executive vice president at Eagle Legacy Credit Union in Colorado. Powles Named GFA FCU CEO
GARDNER, Mass. — Following the retirement of CEO Charles P. Powles, GFA Federal Credit Union announced that President/Chief Operating Officer Tina M. Sbrega has been appointed president/CEO.Sbrega started at GFA in 1980 and has held various positions at the credit union since then.“Tina’s leadership, along with her appreciation of the credit union model and community involvement were keys to what we were looking for in our next CEO,” said Michael Horrigan, GFA chairman of the board. “We are confident in Tina’s leadership, vision and understanding of GFA’s organizational values and members’ needs.”Sbrega’s community involvement includes chair of the board of directors of HOPE, chair of the board of trustees of Heywood Hospital, a member of the board of trustees of Mount Wachusett Community College, past chair of the board of directors for the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce and past director of the Massachusetts Credit Union League.“I am honored and excited to be presented with this opportunity to lead GFA to new heights.
