Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union, Plaquemine, La., announced the appointment of Shawn Zenon to its senior management team as vice president of commercial services. Zenon came to Dow Louisiana from International Bank of Commerce where he served as first vice president. Zenon has experience in lending, including credit administration, secondary marketing, underwriting, sales and operations.

DuPont Community Credit Union, Waynesboro, Va., announced that Jay Hullett has been named systems manager. Hullett has over five years of experience at DuPont. His most recent position with the credit union was systems processing
supervisor. Hullett started his career at DuPont as
a teller.

Coastal Federal Credit Union, Raleigh, N.C., announced the appointment of two vice presidents. Richard Mullen was hired as vice president, mortgage solutions and Jim Pack was hired as vice president, retail sales and service. Mullen has 29 years of experience, including more than 22 years in the residential mortgage banking business. Most recently, Mullen served as director of mortgage secondary, support and delivery for one of North Carolina's largest banks. Pack comes to Coastal from a community bank where he spent two years as senior vice president and retail division manager.

Founders Federal Credit Union, Lancaster, S.C., announced that Patrick Barnett has been hired as a financial consultant at the credit union. Barnett will assist members' financial needs in Lancaster and Chesterfield Counties. Prior to coming to Founders, Barnett was employed with a large insurance and investment service firm where he focused his time on working with nonprofit organizations. Barnett volunteers his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Junior Achievement.

Hawthorne Credit Union, Naperville, Ill., announced that longtime member Pat Price accepted a position as part of the credit union's voluntary board of directors. Price is president and founder of her own marketing agency, The Price Group, and plans to use her financial education and marketing experience to help diversify the board. Prior, to starting her own company, Price worked at Lucent Technologies for 23 years and most recently served as the company's director of North America Product Marketing. Price volunteers marketing assistance for the Lupus Foundation of America and is an active member of the Naperville Chamber of Commerce.

Safe 1 Credit Union, Bakersfield, Calif., announced that Debbie Medina has been named branch manager of the Tehachapi office. Medina started her career as a teller in the main office with Safe 1 in 1989. Over the years she has held positions in various departments.

Whatcom Educational Credit Union, Bellingham, Wash., announced that Kent Bouma has been hired as business services manager. Bouma has over nine years of business banking experience in the Whatcom County area.
