Point Loma Credit Union, Oceanside, Calif., is reaching out to the underserved in its community by assisting the San Diego County Office of Education’s migrant education program. The program is designed to help migrant children’s academic achievement. Point Loma is helping the program by providing migrant families with information about financial services available to them and conducting free financial education seminars in English and Spanish for students and their parents.
Community Trust Credit Union, Grayslake, Ill., announced that Chief Financial Officer Carol Analla and Community Relations Coordinator Michelle Fairbanks were among the 400 participants in the 17th annual 5K race and walk to benefit the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce. Also, Community Trust President Madeline Lipka and Branch Manager Leo Castillo Jr. volunteered to work the registration desk and welcome participants.American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia, held an antique and classic car show in partnership with the Northeast Muscle Car Club to benefit American Heritage’s Kids-N-Hope Foundation. The foundation supports the music therapy program that the Children’s Seashore House in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Live music and food was available through out the day as well.
