BATON ROUGE, La. — With the signing of its first commercial loan to a local towing company, Neighbors Federal Credit Union recently launched its new business services division.
The $360 million credit union now offers a line of business deposit and loan products and services to its field of membership in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Ascension, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena and Livingston parishes, said Eddie Vollenweider, business services manager, Neighbors FCU.
With the loan, Tri-State Towing and Recovery LLC, a locally owned provider of towing and recovery services, expects to expand to national roadside assistance programs.
“We are so delighted to be working with our friends at Neighbors,” said Jacquelyn Jones, who owns the towing business with her husband, Dennis. “They're making our dreams come true.”
