WASHINGTON — Credit union employees and volunteers can learn about the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act during an upcoming NAFCU webcast and a recently issued CD.

A Webcast,”The Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and Money Laundering: Essential Training for Staff and New Employees,” will broadcast live from NAFCU's headquarters on Nov. 5 from 2 p.m.–3:30 p.m. EDT. Additionally, a 60-minute 2008 training video designed specifically for credit union board members and volunteers is currently available on CD through NAFCU.

NAFCU Director of Regulatory Compliance Anthony Demangone is the featured speaker in both the Webcast and training video and will provide credit union professionals with an overview of money laundering, BSA, Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements and recent regulatory developments.
