ATLANTA, Ga. — Members of credit unions that participate in shared branching can now easily download shared branching locations nationwide into their personal navigation devices.

Members with devices from Garmin or Tom Tom or other navigation systems can visit the shared branching locater site (www.cuservicecenters.com) and download the branch locations into their devices. This supplements the other location tools site offers.

“Shared branching helps credit unions stay as accessible as even the largest banks, an especially critical factor considering the recent bank mergers and financial market upheaval,” said Carroll Beach, CO-OP Shared Branching president. “With this new tool, credit unions have one more way to find a convenient location to do their banking when they are on the go.”

CO-OP Shared Branching is one of the two nationwide shared branching networks whose branches are available members of participating credit unions.

In addition to the GPS download function, members can call 800-919-2872 for turn-by-turn directions in English or Spanish. They can also visit www.cuservicecenters.com to search nearby locations and participating credit unions, download a directory and more.
