CUNA Does Big Revamp in Online Get-Out-Vote Push

WASHINGTON -- Recognizing the seismic change in early voting in both Presidential and Congressional races, CUNA said this week it has stepped up its get-out-the-vote campaign by revamping Web site aids and offering new online tools to get CU employees, volunteers and members registered in larger numbers.

WASHINGTON — Recognizing the seismic change in early voting in both Presidential and Congressional races, CUNA said this week it has stepped up its get-out-the-vote campaign by revamping Web site aids and offering new online tools to get CU employees, volunteers and members registered in larger numbers.

“We’ve redesigned our online Election Action center making it easy and simple for credit union members and employees not only to register and obtain absentee ballots and send them in, but also to locate polling places and hours of operation,” said Trey Hawkins, CUNA’s political director.
