DALLAS — With hopes of raising $100,000 toward Hurricane Ike disaster relief, a coalition of credit union corporates, vendors and the Harmon Killebrew Foundation announced Monday they are teaming up to host a celebrity golf tournament Nov. 18 at a Dallas country club.
The tab per foursome is $1,000, with each of the sponsoring corporates and vendors putting up $7,500 apiece.
Under the schedule, golfers will play 18 holes "of championship golf at the fabulous Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine along with sports celebrities," including Minnesota Twins Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew, said the Texas Credit Union League, which is coordinating arrangements.
