SAN DIMAS, Calif.-- World Council of Credit Unions President and CEO Pete Crear will be the guest in the first-ever hour-long International Credit Union Day Webcast sponsored by Western Corporate FCU and WOCCU. Paul Berry, who hosts Home & Family Finance, a weekly radio program sponsored by CUNA & Affiliates, will moderate.

Crear will discuss WOCCU's success developing the credit union movement worldwide, helping the financial cooperatives expand into new countries and infiltrate difficult-to-reach markets, many of which are gaining access to fairly priced financial services for the first time.

Crear will allow time to answer questions from a studio audience. Webcast listeners will also be able to e-mail questions that will be answered on the air.

The event begins at noon Pacific Time. It is open to the public and may be accessed by registering at www.wescorp.org or www.woccu.org. The program will be recorded and available for viewing on both organizations' Web sites.
