OKLAHOMA CITY — A developer and re-seller of biometric authentication solutions has started a new company targeting the credit union market.
Human Element Biometrics (www.hebiometrics.com) is an offshoot of RG2 Solutions, a developer of biometrics solutions and re-seller of DigitalPersona solutions that began with credit unions and has expanded to health care, corrections, retail and other industries, the company said.
“RG2's focus is credit unions and we want it to stay that way” said Roger Grant, Human Element Biometrics founder and RG2 Solutions president. “That being the case Human Element Biometrics will now take those products and move forward as a separate company.”
Grant said three credit unions currently are running the Oklahoma City company's BioTran fingerprint verification solution for point of transaction and safe deposit box verification. Others are in the evaluation process for that product and for DigitalPersona Pro biometric security solutions for networks and applications, Grant said.
