Teachers Federal Credit Union, Farmingville, N.Y., announced that its board of directors awarded the title of director emeritus to founding member Lester J. Gosier. Gosier is the first director to be honored with this status in recognition of his contributions and long history of dedicated service. Gosier served as the credit unions board chairman and as a member of the facilities and planning, supervisory, marketing and personnel committees. In 1991, Teacher’s renamed the Bay Shore branch the Lester J. Gosier Credit Union Building. Gosiertaught physics at Bay Shore High School for 40 years. He is a retired Lt. Colonel-United States Army Reserveand is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College.
