FLINT, Mich. — Dort Federal Credit Union has launched IndiGO, a high yield, self-service online savings and checking account.

The $350 million credit union said the remote account rewards self-service members with substantial dividends without any monthly service fees, or transaction requirements.

"Dort Federal wanted to bring an online-only account to the market to meet the needs of the growing number of online banking users," said Martin Smith, Dort Federal's president/CEO. Companies like ING have experienced enormous growth each year because more and more people are interested in earning higher returns and managing their own accounts when it's convenient for them.
