NEW YORK — Organizations trying to implement major change should plan and execute their ideas with the customer and their own culture in mind, Susan Packard the Co-Founder of HGTV told attendees at the CUNA's America's Credit Union Conference and Expo today.

Packard said that just having a good idea isn't enough to make it a success, you need to be sure that the idea is one that you're customers will find helpful and useful. Credit union's should also work to keep their ideas fresh so that they can change with times.

She also said that companies should understand their own culture so that their employees are ready, willing and able to implement the changes necessary to keep up with the economic and marketplace changes that occur on a regular basis.
