DENVER — LenderLive Network Inc. has hired a credit union veteran to manage the marketing efforts for the outsourcing and technology provider's retail business channel.

Steve VanSickler's role as director of community lending will be to lead the expansion of the company's offerings to credit unions and banks while helping them grow their residential mortgage business.

VanSickler had been senior vice president and chief lending officer for $154 million Red Rocks CU in Highlands Ranch and prior to that was vice president of Air Academy FCU in Colorado Springs.

He currently is the chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Compliance Committee for the American Credit Union Mortgage Association and a member of national advisory panels for CUNA, CMG Mortgage Insurance, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

"As a result of the changing needs of the mortgage industry and LenderLive's greater focus on specific business channels, we wanted to make sure we had someone with experience and respect to head the community lending channel. Community lending is important to us because we believe banks and credit unions will become dominant sources of mortgage loans for consumers," said Rick Seehausen, president of LenderLive (www.lenderlive.com).

Denver-based LenderLive offers outsourced, private-label service and technology solutions to help credit unions and banks originate, process, underwrite and close loans.
