Ernst and Young Taps CUSO Financial, PSCU Financial Award Winners

SAN DIEGO -- Ernst and Young has named Valorie Seyfert, CEO of CUSO Financial Services LP, as its Ernst and Young's 2008 entrepreneur of the year in the business services category for the San Diego region and Dave Serlo, president/CEO of PSCU Financial Services for the Florida region.

SAN DIEGO — Ernst and Young has named Valorie Seyfert, CEO of CUSO Financial Services LP, as its Ernst and Young’s 2008 entrepreneur of the year in the business services category for the San Diego region and Dave Serlo, president/CEO of PSCU Financial Services for the Florida region.

In accepting the award during a June 9 award ceremony, Seyfert acknowledged the invaluable contributions of her co-founder and business partner, Amy Beattie, and recognized the accomplishments of CFS’ management and staff.

“I’m honored that Ernst and Young has recognized our dedication and achievements in providing needed services to credit unions,” Seyfert said. “This has truly been a team effort, and without Amy it never would have happened. It is because of the talents, hard work and dedication of all our employees that my vision became a reality, and that CFS continues to be the success it is today.”
