Indiana's Centra CU Aids Flood Victims

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- With 14 of its own employees losing homes, cars or other property, the $780 million Centra CU began mobilizing both an internal and community relief effort Thursday to assist victims of this week's flooding that hit this central Indiana community of 40,000, closing down a regional hospital.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — With 14 of its own employees losing homes, cars or other property, the $780 million Centra CU began mobilizing both an internal and community relief effort Thursday to assist victims of this week’s flooding that hit this central Innodiana community of 40,000, closing down a regional hospital.

“We have a three-pronged effort underway–to help our employees, join the Red Cross and other agencies in collecting food, cleaning supplies etc. and to help the many members that were impacted,” said Nan Morrow, vice president of corporate development.
