SAN DIMAS, Calif. — Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc. has named Arrowhead Credit Union Executive Vice President Ken Facer the 2008 Callahan Award winner.
According to FSCC President/CEO Sarah Canepa Bang, Facer was honored for his dedication to being “a tireless advocate for credit union shared branching.”
The Callahan award is given annually to an individual whose dedication to FSCC has helped expand the reach of shared branching. The Callahan award is named for Edgar Callahan, past chairman of FSCC, an advocate for credit union shared branching and former CEO of Patelco Credit Union.
Past winners of the Callahan award include Ed Callahan (Patelco CU), Ted Dennis (Point Loma FCU), Andy Hunter (Patelco CU), Carl Stewart (Water and Power Community FCU) and Tom Stewart (Western CU).
