DUBLIN, Ohio — Seeking to enhance its legislative profile, the Ohio Credit Union League has sold its headquarters building here and is planning a year-end move to a site near the state capitol building in downtown Columbus.
"We are leasing some space in the capital square area," said a league spokesman noting the Columbus presence would provide improved access to lawmakers as compared to its Dublin home, 25 minutes away.
It's not the first time the Ohio League has relocated having once been in Grandview Heights, another Columbus suburb.
The Dublin headquarters has been sold to Northwood Consulting, a firm which has been leasing space from the league. The move to the Columbus site is expected to take six months to a year to complete, said the spokesman adding "this seems to be the right time for the building sale and the relocation."
