WASHINGTON — NAFCU's Board has elected Bradley W. Beal, president and CEO of the Nevada Federal Credit Union its new chairman.

Beal, who will take over the chairmanship at the end of NAFCU's annual business meeting next month in San Diego, is currently the board's vice chairman and a Region V director. He has been president of Nevada FCU since 1990.

“It is a great honor for me to serve as chair of this outstanding organization. I am particularly pleased because I know the team of board members with whom I will have the privilege to work will provide an exceptional level of commitment and expertise,” Beal said. “This will be especially important as we continue to battle the banks in preserving the credit union tax exemption and address other vital issues for credit unions.”

The board also elected Michael Lussier, president and CEO of Webster Federal Credit Union in Webster, Massachusetts, as vice chairman.

Michael J. Parsons, president and CEO of First Source FCU in New Hartford, New York, is the new treasurer.

Ed Templeton, president and CEO of SRP FCU in North Augusta, South Carolina was elected secretary.
