SEATTLE — A man who was suspected of robbing Qualstar Credit Union at around 11:55 am was reprimanded after he was shot in the hand by police officers.

A police officer on patrol saw the suspect's vehicle after leaving the robbery and chased it on Interstate 90 to Mercer Island. The suspect then pulled his car into a house and other officers arrived and blocked in his vehicle.

The suspect was shot in the hand after he attempted to leave by ramming the police cars with his vehicle. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center and the two officers who fired gunshots were placed on routine administrative leave.
