SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Patelco Credit Union President Andy Hunter told Credit Union Times that its relationship with the ailing Sterlent CU of Pleasanton is far different than its recent purchase and assumption of Cal State 9 Credit Union of Concord.
"It can't be compared to Cal State 9 because the scale is a lot different," said Hunter. "We are assisting them under an agreement, the details of which are confidential." Hunter did indicate that the "highest priority" of that assistance was focused on collections.
