LATHAM, N.Y. — The New York State Credit Union League is reinventing itself.

Representing New York's credit unions for 91 years, the league will now be known as the Credit Union Association of New York.

According to Association President/CEO William J. Mellin, by leading with the words 'credit union' the new name and complete revamp is designed to instantly communicate whom it serves and eliminate any prior confusion that it is a state agency.
