WASHINGTON — One of the Treasury Department's top officials responsible for dealing with Congress is taking a similar position at the National Credit Union Administration.
Deputy Assistant Treasury Secretary for Legislative Affairs Robert U. Foster III will become the deputy director of NCUA's Office of Public & Congressional Affairs.
Foster was also a top aide to Former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Michael Oxley (R-Ohio), and a lobbyist.

"I am extremely proud to have Bob join us," said NCUA Chairwoman JoAnn Johnson. "His expertise and knowledge will be an asset to the agency, particularly as we navigate the increasingly complicated environment for credit unions in Congress.
