ALBANY, N.Y. — It was a team effort to assemble care packages for troops overseas for at Capital Communications Federal Credit Union as children who came to work with their parents and the local National Guard Members in Latham’s 3rd battalion 142nd Aviation Regiment worked together to put together the packages.

“We are proud to be able to support our troops overseas with this project, and we felt it would be a good activity to involve the children in during Take Your Child to Work Day,” said Bob Bascom, coordinator of the Capital Communications Cares Foundation. “Partnering with National Guard members on the project will make it that much more meaningful for the kids.”
