NCUA Recognizes National Small Business Week

WASHINGTON -- Recognizing the alliances between credit unions and small businesses, NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson is joining the Small Business Administration in the marking of National Small Business Week, which kicks off April 21.

WASHINGTON — Recognizing the alliances between credit unions and small businesses, NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson is joining the Small Business Administration in the marking of National Small Business Week, which kicks off April 21.

“NCUA promotes a credit union environment that fosters the entrepreneurial spirit for credit union members while maintaining a safe and sound credit union system,” Johnson said. “I strongly support President Bush for fostering an economic and regulatory framework that gives credit unions the flexibility to provide affordable capital to its member-owners.”
