MOLINE, Ill. — I.H. Mississippi Valley Credit Union will be deploying image capture and returns software solutions and other Check 21 tools from VSoft Corp., the company and credit union said.
The deployment will allow the $602 million CU to create outgoing image cash letters for exchange with the Federal Reserve and to accept returned items as incoming image files and to print substitute paper checks for endpoints that cannot receive electronic cash letters.
"VSoft's check imaging and exchange solutions will allow us to move our payment processing system from paper to images, improving our operational efficiencies while enhancing services offered to our members," said Scott Zahnle, vice president of information technology at 86,000-member IHMVCU in Moline.
Atlanta-based VSoft (www.vsoftcorp.org) now provides image-based exchange and processing technology to more than 1,700 financial institutions worldwide, the company said.
