MILWAUKEE — Empower Credit Union President Jennifer Schilling has been honored by the Milwaukee Business Journal as a "Forty Under 40″ award winner.

Over 280 candidates under the age of 40 were judged on their business leadership roles, voluntary efforts and commitment to improving their communities.

Schilling has been at the credit union since 1998 when she became the accountant and later the chief financial officer, before becoming interim president in 2003. Empower CU serves over 5,800 members and has $130 million in assets.
