HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Credit Union Times has added Managing Editor Donald Shoultz to its staff.

Shoultz brings over 10 years of editorial management experience to Credit Union Times. He previously managed the editorial direction and content for all publications published by McGraw-Hill's Standard & Poor's publishing unit. This included CreditWeek, five other publications, and Web, CD-ROM, and wire services. In addition, Shoultz led over 100 editors stationed across the globe in cities such as New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Toronto, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Singapore.

Shoultz also was an editor and writer for Coopers & Lybrand in New York where he wrote and edited articles for 12 quarterly industry-specific newsletters that were sent to clients and prospects. He was an editor and writer for the American Banker as well.

Most recently, Shoultz was a freelance writer and editor of news, feature and technical articles. He completed his first novel Lonestars, ten short stories, and the first draft of his second novel Razor Cut.

"I'm pleased to be working in news publication again and I'm excited about Credit Union Times' future and potential to serve a vital and important readership," Shoultz said.

Shoultz received a bachelor of arts with a double major in English and cinema studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and has taken additional course work at New York University, University of the Americas, Mexico City, and the New York Institute of Finance.
