ARLINGTON, Va. — NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker was profiled in the Feb. 1 issue of CEO Update, a Washington-based publication that caters to association and non-profit executives.

In an article entitled "Planning the CEO Career," Becker was one of several CEOs who offered up ideas on how an aspiring CEO can beat out other competitors–including current CEOs–for his or her first chief executive post.

Becker recommended a career that exposes hopefuls to a broad range of skills and experience, telling CEO Update, "I think to be the CEO you have to be a jack-of-all-trades, ambidextrous, and maybe with attention deficit disorder."
