AUSTIN, Texas -- The Credit Union Information Security Professionals Association has enlisted Navy Federal Credit Union.
Ray Murphy, information security program manager for the world's largest credit union, also has been elected to the technology security consortium's board.
"As part of CUISPA, we are looking forward to working with our fellow credit unions in exchanging information and sharing our experiences to help enhance the service that we provide to the credit union membership," Murphy said.
Murphy has more than 20 years of IT experience at major corporations and at $33 billion Navy Federal his responsibilities include risk assessments, security policy and provider review and member/employee security awareness and training.
The 4-year-old organization (www.cuispa.org) said its membership now includes 35 of the 50 largest credit unions in the country, as well as more than half of the corporate credit unions and an outreach of more than 1,500 credit union IT professionals.
