WASHINGTON — In a high-level collaboration, top industry groups including CUNA, state leagues and the National Credit Union Foundation will unveil at the upcoming GAC conference a new branding framework and nationwide campaign to promote and coordinate "more vigorously than ever" low-income initiatives, outreach and charity projects.
The "Real Deal" framework, encompassing a broad spectrum of already existing outreach initiatives ranging from REAL Solutions to BizKids financial literacy and payday relief to Children's Miracle Network, has been in the works for more than a year.
It is a direct outgrowth of state league efforts led by the American Association of Credit Union Leagues to confront more forcefully political challenges, both state and federal, to the CU public service mission not only on basic charitable giving but on aid to the low income and underserved.
