SBA, CUNA Mark Five-Year Anniversary

WASHINGTON -- CUNA President/CEO Dan Mica and Steve Preston, administrator of the Small Business Administration, met today to discuss the credit union industry's growing participation in the agency's loan programs.

WASHINGTON — CUNA President/CEO Dan Mica and Steve Preston, administrator of the Small Business Administration, met today to discuss the credit union industry's growing participation in the agency's loan programs.

Five years ago this month, SBA expanded its guaranteed loan program to all credit unions, regardless of their charter. More than 385 credit unions now participate in the agency's 7(a) program.
