BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Fiserv Inc.'s CheckFree operation is now offering a remote deposit capture solution.
CheckFree's Remote Deposit Capture for Consumers solution allows credit unions and banks to empower their members and customers to scan and deposit checks from anywhere they have a PC, scanner and an Internet connection.
The solution uses the institution's existing online banking portal and security applications, supports any generic TWAIN scanner, and can be installed as a new product or integrated as an add-on to any other remote deposit capture solution, the company said.
“The collaboration between our Fiserv and CheckFree teams allowed us to develop and quickly bring to market this easy-to-use consumer-friendly product that has the potential to change the face of consumer banking,” said Tom Warsop, Fiserv's group president, Financial Institutions.
