TAMPA, Fla. — The 200,000 members of GTE Federal Credit Union can now bank with their cell phones.
The $2.1 billion CU has branded its mobile service CU2GO and offers it through a dedicated, secure mobile access Web site at https://m.gtefcu.org.
Functionality includes the ability to view balances and transaction histories, transfer funds and pay bills.
The service was launched after a beta with approximately 2,000 members allowed GTE FCU's IT staff to test user-friendliness and compatibility of the mobile account access with a variety of handheld devices.
