Texas Gears Up Pro-CU Pitch on Subprime

DALLAS -- In a revved up advocacy pitch to voice the industry's favored role on subprime mortgages and to address recession fears, the Texas Credit Union League revealed Thursday the launch of a statewide media blitz to gather and publish scores of credit union "success stories."

DALLAS — In a revved up advocacy pitch to voice the industry’s favored role on subprime mortgages and to address recession fears, the Texas Credit Union League revealed Thursday the launch of a statewide media blitz to gather and publish scores of credit union “success stories.”

“We have been handed a unique opportunity to tell the credit union story and if we don’t act immediately on this kind of news hook, it will be gone and we will have simply missed the boat,” declared Winter Prosapio, TCUL director of communications–advocacy.
