PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Pawtucket Credit Union is adding Check 21 solutions from its core processor, Open Solutions Inc.
The $866 million CU, which runs on The Complete Credit Union Solution from the Connecticut company, says it will deploy Open Solutions' branch capture and image-based item processing tools to eliminate the need to transport or archive paper documents at its 12 branches.
"After a thorough evaluation process, we found Open Solutions' item processing and branch capture applications to be the best choice to meet our future growth, operational and strategic goals," says William Slade, the credit union's vice president of data services.
"Additionally, the solutions will enable the credit union to automate many traditionally manual procedures, such as helping us streamline our workflow and cut down on associated expenses," Slade says.
