TAMPA, Fla. — Gila Corporation, through its Gila Group business unit, has signed a collections outsourcing agreement to expand its current service offering with Bay Gulf Credit Union.
Austin, Texas-based Gila Group will handle the collection of all delinquent loans and negative share draft accounts beginning with accounts classified as early as five days delinquent until charged off by $201 million Bay Gulf. In addition, accounts under 60 days delinquent shall be worked on Gila's I3 Dialer as mutually agreed upon to help control delinquency levels.
"Gila Group staff act as defacto employees of the credit union, so the process is seamless to Bay Gulf's members," said Patrick Swanick, CEO, Gila Corporation.
