SAN DIEGO — The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues have picked new officers for the coming year with Lynn Athens, president/CEO of Spectrum FCU in San Francisco, heading up California and Dan Paulson, president/CEOof WestStar CU in Las Vegas, re-elected to lead the Nevada trade group.

Election of new officers came Nov. 13 during the annual meeting of the groups which held separate business sessions here in line with past tradition.

Elected as California League first vice chairman and second vice chairman, respectively, were Brett Martinez, president/CEO of Redwood CU, Santa Rosa; and Jeff York, president/CEO of CoastHills Federal Credit Union in Lompoc.

Rounding out the executive committee are Darren Williams, president/CEO of Wescom CU, Pasadena; and Eileen Rivera, president/CEO of FAA First FCU, Hawthorne.

As California League chairman, Athens succeeds Debra Grisamer, president/CEO of Alta Vista CU, San Bernardino, who will serve as an ex officio member of the executive committee.

In Nevada, others in leadership beside Paulson, the chairman, include: Vice Chairman Wallace Murray, president and CEO of Greater Nevada CU, Las Vegas; Treasurer Doug Schwartz, president/CEO, Moapa Valley FCU, Overton; Secretary Carol Gibson, executive vice president, Silver State Schools CU, Las Vegas; Director Dennis Flannigan, president/CEO of Great Basin FCU, Reno; Director Tony Mook, president/CEO, Cumorah CU, Las Vegas; and Director Bruce Rodela, president/CEO, Frontier Financial CU, Reno.
