ARLINGTON, Va. — NASCUS Chairman George Reynolds has been elected chairman of the State Financial Regulators Roundtable for a two-year term.
"I am enthusiastic about serving as the chairman of SFRR," Reynolds, senior deputy commissioner of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, said. "SFRR provides state financial regulators a valuable mechanism to discuss and act on common issues affecting financial services regulation both on the state and national level." NASCUS will assume administrative direction of SFRR during Reynolds' term.
SFRR facilitates communication, coordination and cooperation among state regulatory associations to promote effective state regulatory oversight for financial services providers.
