ARLINGTON, Va. — NASCUS Chairman George Reynolds, senior deputy commissioner of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, has been elected chairman of the State Financial Regulators Roundtable.

"I am enthusiastic about serving as the chairman of SFRR," Reynolds said. "SFRR provides state financial regulators a valuable mechanism to discuss and act on common issues affecting financial services regulation both on the state and national level." NASCUS will assume administrative direction of SFRR during Reynolds' two-year term.

SFRR facilitates communication, coordination and cooperation among state regulatory associations to promote effective state regulatory oversight for financial services providers.
