TACOMA, Wash. — Looking to guide members on a journey to greater service and access, BN West Credit Union has changed its name to MilePost Credit Union.
Founded as a financial cooperative serving railroad employees, the $57 million credit union has grown over the course of 55 years to serve more than 7,000 members in Pierce County and the entire Western Washington area.
“Our new name reflects the mileposts that mark the progress of a journey toward a future destination, and our goal as a credit union is to help every member achieve financial freedom at each junction in life,” said Dan Fiorino, president/CEO of MilePost. “MilePost marks a new course for members, guiding them toward the next generation of greater service, access, convenience and value.”
In addition to celebrating the new name and complete rebranding of the credit union, MilePost is scheduled to open its second branch today.
