NEW ORLEANS — An ongoing effort to link credit unions with CUSOs for certain specialty services recently received a $25,000 boost to make it happen.

Lisa Renner, CEO of CU Holding Company, LLC, told attendees attending NACUSO’s Business Services Collaborative yesterday that the message of “keeping the money in the family” needs to be heard around the industry. To that end, a number of entities have stepped up to pledge $5,000 each to spreading the word. The donors are CU*Answers, Central States Mortgage, Member Gateways, LLC, Beyond Marketing, LLC and Mountain America Credit Union. Renner also acknowledged PSCU Financial Services for providing the $50,000 seed money in May to kick off the National Center for Collaboration and Innovation.
