ATLANTA -- As part of its quest to become the premier financial institution in Metro Atlanta, Delta Community Credit Union opened its newest branch in Cobb County here on Oct. 22.
The $2.5 billion credit union currently occupies 18,500 square feet of the 51,000-square foot facility. The building features covered parking, four drive-thru lanes and two ATMs.
"With the opening of this much-anticipated community branch, we're able to bring convenience and the latest in technology to our many members who live and work in this area of metro-Atlanta," said Rick Foley, president/CEO of Delta Community, at the branch's ribbon cutting. "We're delighted to be a part of this thriving area of our city and look forward to introducing our unique style of service to Cobb County."
Delta Community partnered with Atlanta-based design firm LEVEL5 to construct its newest branch. Sky Design, a subsidiary of ASD, one of the professional groups on the LEVEL5 team, is responsible for the credit union's retail merchandising and developed the new graphics and branding identity for Delta Community's branch prototype.
The credit union serves Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett and Henry counties in the metro Atlanta area. Four additional branches are under construction in Cobb, Coweta and Fulton counties and out-of-state branches are located in Florence, Ky., Southlake, Texas and the Salt Lake City airport.
