CHATSWORTH, Calif. — As the fires in Southern California rage on, Matadors Community Credit Union is doing its part to help out the victims.
Recognizing that those who have been displaced and may be in need of emergency cash for such expenses as clothing, food and lodging, the $120 million credit union is offering a low-rate, no-fee Fire Relief Loan through November 30.
The loan, which features a 12-month repayment period, 9.90%APR and a maximum loan amount of $3,000, includes a 60-day payment deferment since members may not be able to make payments immediately.
